This flagship 7-seater SUV will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and is set to compete with prominent models like the Jeep Meridian, MG Gloster, Skoda Kodiaq, and Toyota Fortuner. Under the hood, the X-Trail will be powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, producing 163hp and 300Nm of torque. Tata Motors is set to introduce the Curvv August 7, adding a fresh perspective to the midsize SUV category. This coupe-SUV will challenge rivals such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos with its sleek design and robust engine options. The Curvv will be available with three engine choices: a 120hp 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 115hp 1.5-litre diesel, and a new 125hp, 225Nm 1.2-litre three-cylinder direct-injection turbo-petrol. All engines will come with a dual-clutch automatic transmission, offering a blend of performance and efficiency.

Additionally, the Curvv will have an electric variant, the Curvv EV, featuring two battery packs: a new 55kWh unit and the existing 40.5kWh unit from the Nexon LR. The EV version is expected to deliver a range of up to 550km and will share many features with its petrol counterpart, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a fully digital driver’s display, a powered tailgate with gesture function, a panoramic sunroof, reclining rear seats, ventilated front seats, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Level 2.
