Upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars that are initially going to be launched in India in the coming years are expected to be priced under the Rs. 10 lakh mark. Maruti Suzuki will make strides in making their presence felt in the Indian market with a slew of fresh compact cars over the next few years.
These cars will focus on different body styles and fuel options such as hybrids and electric vehicles.
1. New Maruti Suzuki Small Car
Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to release an all-new small car in the Indian market, with hybrid, flex-fuel, and CNG powertrain options, all aimed at first-time buyers-the most severely hit segment in the last few years. The company could be revamping interest in entry-level vehicles, and within that revamp, it may house a budget offering with an excellent range capability.
2. Maruti Suzuki eWX
Inspired by the eWX concept, Maruti Suzuki's forthcoming compact EV is likely to feature a design with tall pillars and upright elements that allow for a spacious cabin. The maker would look into providing this model as a possible affordable practical solution to electric mobility across the Indian market lines.
3. New Maruti Suzuki Baleno
The upcoming third-generation Maruti Suzuki Baleno can probably debut in 2026, with lots of design changes as well as feature updates. Some reports claim that the hybrid setup developed in-house by the manufacturer would adopt an arrangement akin to a range extender and could achieve fuel efficiency higher than 30 kmpl.
4&5. Maruti Suzuki Compact MPV & Micro SUV
The company is working on developing a seven-seat MPV fitted with the forthcoming strong hybrid petrol engine from the house of Maruti Suzuki. With this, it also has plans to unveil a brand new micro SUV by late 2026. Setting the rivalry against some of the top players like Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter, the micro SUV could also receive a hybrid system.
The upcoming MPV might be competing with other models like Renault Kiger and would feature some design and usability elements from the global Suzuki Spacia.
With compact dimensions yet a spacious interior, the new model will attract buyers who are in search of a practical, affordable people mover.
6. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid
There are rumors that the company has been working on an updated version of the Fronx, and its unveiling is likely to occur in the coming months. The new test mule sightings have created a buzz due to the prototype being seen sporting a hybrid badge stuck to its boot. Should this hybrid variant materialize, it would be expected to have phenomenal fuel economy.
