2026 Renault Triber Updated With Segment-First Features, Prices Revised Upwards

Renault India has quietly but meaningfully refreshed its budget seven-seater for 2026, adding a segment-first automatic climate control system and a host of practical upgrades spread across the variant lineup. Alongside the feature additions, the French carmaker has also revised prices upward across all trims, with hikes ranging between Rs. 4,575 and Rs. 9,150. The Triber remains one of the most affordable seven-seaters on sale in the country, and this update is clearly aimed at keeping it relevant in an increasingly competitive space.

  • The 2026 Renault Triber gains a segment-first automatic climate control system on its top Emotion trim, along with practical interior upgrades across the range.

  • Prices have been revised upward across all variants, with the range now starting at Rs. 5.81 lakh, ex-showroom.

Renault India has officially launched the updated Triber for 2026, bringing with it a meaningful set of feature additions and a corresponding price revision. The changes span multiple variants and focus primarily on comfort and everyday practicality, which has always been the Triber's calling card in the budget MPV space.

What Has Changed Inside the Cabin

The most significant addition to the updated Triber is undoubtedly the automatic climate control system, now offered on the top-end Emotion variant. This is a segment-first feature for the Triber, and it goes a long way in elevating the ownership experience for family buyers who spend a great deal of time inside the cabin.

Beyond climate control, Renault has also introduced second-row one-touch fold and tumble seats, making access to the third row considerably easier. When the second row is fully folded, boot capacity expands to an impressive 1,065 litres, which is a genuinely useful figure for a vehicle in this segment.

Variant-Specific Feature Additions

The upgrades are not limited to the Emotion trim alone. The Evolution variant now receives steering-mounted audio and phone controls, a day-night adjustable inside rear-view mirror, and a rear room lamp. These are small but thoughtful additions that make the mid-range trim feel noticeably more complete.

The Techno variant benefits from a wider set of changes. It gains a driver seat armrest, height adjustment for the driver seat, a rear defogger, electrically folding ORVMs, two front tweeters, and a 12-volt charging socket for third-row passengers.

Taken together, these additions address several practical pain points that long-distance family travel tends to expose.

Powertrain Remains Unchanged

The Triber continues with its familiar 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 71bhp and 96Nm of torque. A five-speed manual gearbox is standard across the range, while the AMT option remains exclusive to the top Emotion variant.

The safety package includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and electronic stability control as standard fitment.

Updated Price List

The revised pricing sees the base Authentic petrol manual variant start at Rs. 5.81 lakh, ex-showroom. The top-spec Emotion AMT is priced at Rs. 8.48 lakh, ex-showroom. The hikes across variants range from Rs. 4,575 on the Authentic to Rs. 9,150 on the Emotion trims.

For a vehicle that continues to offer genuine seven-seat versatility at a competitive price point, the 2026 Triber update adds real-world value without dramatically shifting the value proposition that has made it a popular choice for budget-conscious families.
