The wait is almost over for SUV Lovers. Skoda Auto India has set an official date for the launch of the all-new 2025 Kodiaq. The second-generation model will now be set to make its Indian entry on April 17, along with a thorough facelift- from the new exteriors to a loaded tech cabin and more powerful petrol engine.
Powertrain: More Power with the Big Punch Offered in Petrol
The 2025 Kodiaq's power packet starts with a turbo-petrol 2.0-litre engine that produces around 201 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. It comes with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission and standard 4x4 for performance on all terrains.
Skoda promises a more refined driving experience with this new powertrain, aiming to enhance responsiveness while upholding the SUV's characteristic composure and comfort.
Design and Exterior Updates: Bold and Modern
The 2025 Kodiaq has had a modern metamorphosis on the outside. Sleeker LED headlamps, new front and rear bumpers, and a fresh set of alloy wheels are its current winning attributes. The rear also sees U-shaped LED tail lamps and big Skoda lettering on the tailgate that contribute to an upmarket road presence.
These updates accentuate Kodiaq's alignment with the Skoda product's global design language, making it sharper and slicker than it has ever been.
Interior And Features: Where Luxury Meets Technology
Get inside, and the updates continue. The cabin now boasts a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, and a new two-spoke steering wheel. The sunroof, three-zone climate control, and revamped aircon panel only add to comfort.
The 2025 Kodiaq is also likely to up its game when it comes to connectivity and safety features, marking its territory as a true luxury SUV.
Variants and Expected Positioning
The new-gen Kodiaq will thus be available in two variants: Sportline and L&K (Laurin & Klement). This caters to both performance-oriented buyers and luxury-seeking buyers. Pricing has not yet been defined, but the SUV is expected to look at the premium end of the three-row segment with competition.
As April 17 approaches, the anticipation grows- and by the looks of it, the 2025 Kodiaq is set to strut.
