Maruti Grand Vitara 2025: Affordable Hybrid, Cool New Features Unveiled!

Maruti Suzuki upgrades the 2025 Grand Vitara with an affordable hybrid, 6 airbags standard, new AWD auto, and awesome features for a safer, comfy ride starting at Rs 11.42 lakh!

Maruti Suzuki fans need to buckle up because their favorite brand just dropped some awesome updates for the Grand Vitara SUV in 2025. Think more affordable hybrid options, slick new features, and safety upgrades with a glam factor.

What’s New with the Grand Vitara?

Maruti’s Grand Vitara is stepping up its game this year. After Toyota jazzed up its Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Maruti said, “Hold my steering wheel!”

Now, the 2025 Grand Vitara comes with a cheaper strong-hybrid version, a new automatic all-wheel-drive (AWD) option, and 6 airbags in every single model. Prices kick off at just Rs 11.42 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)—pretty sweet, right?

Affordable Hybrid Vibes

The star of the show?

The strong-hybrid powertrain just got easier to grab! Maruti added a new “Delta+” trim, dropping the hybrid starting price to Rs 16.99 lakh. Before, you had to shell out Rs 18.58 lakh for the fancy Zeta+ or Alpha+ trims.

Now, more people can zoom around in an eco-friendly style without breaking the bank.

Safety First, Always

Safety’s a big deal, and Maruti’s not messing around. Every 2025 Grand Vitara now packs 6 airbags as standard—yep, even the base Sigma and Delta models, which used to have just 2.

Plus, you get cool stuff like ESP, hill hold assist, ABS, EBD, 3-point seatbelts for everyone, and ISOFIX mounts for the little ones. Drive safe, fam!

Fancy Features to Flex

Maruti’s tossing in some comfy upgrades, too. It has an 8-way powered driver’s seat, an electronic parking brake for auto variants, an air purifier showing PM2.5 levels (bye, dust!), LED cabin lights and rear window sunshades. Oh, and the 17-inch alloy wheels got a sleek new look.

Other goodies? A 9-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera, and ventilated front seats. Talk about riding in style!

Sunroof? Your Call!

Here’s a fun twist: the panoramic sunroof isn’t standard anymore on mid and top trims (Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+, Alpha+). Want that starry-sky view? Add Rs 60,000, and it’s yours. Flexibility for the win!

Power Up Your Ride

The 2025 Grand Vitara keeps its two engine options. First, a 1.5-litre petrol engine pumping out 103hp and 137Nm—pair it with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.

The AWD version now ditches the manual for that smooth 6-speed auto. Second, the 116hp strong-hybrid (1.5-litre, 3-cylinder) with an e-CVT transmission for that chill, fuel-sipping drive.

Price Check Time!

Ready for the full price scoop on the 2025 Maruti Grand Vitara (ex-showroom, Delhi)? Here it goes:

  • Sigma: Rs 11.42 lakh (Petrol-MT)

  • Delta: Rs 12.53 lakh (Petrol-MT) | Rs 13.93 lakh (Petrol-AT)

  • Delta+: Rs 16.99 lakh (Strong-hybrid e-CVT)

  • Zeta: Rs 14.67 lakh (Petrol-MT) | Rs 16.07 lakh (Petrol-AT)

  • Zeta (Sunroof): Rs 15.27 lakh (Petrol-MT) | Rs 16.67 lakh (Petrol-AT)

  • Alpha: Rs 16.14 lakh (Petrol-MT) | Rs 17.54 lakh (Petrol-AT) | Rs 19.04 lakh (Petrol AWD AT)

  • Alpha (Sunroof): Rs 16.74 lakh (Petrol-MT) | Rs 18.14 lakh (Petrol-AT) | Rs 19.64 lakh (Petrol AWD AT)

  • Zeta+: Rs 18.60 lakh (Strong-hybrid e-CVT)

  • Zeta+ (Sunroof): Rs 19.20 lakh (Strong-hybrid e-CVT)

  • Alpha+: Rs 19.92 lakh (Strong-hybrid e-CVT)

  • Alpha+ (Sunroof): Rs 20.52 lakh (Strong-hybrid e-CVT)

Want a dual-tone color? Add Rs 16,000 from Zeta onwards. Choices, choices!

Why This Rocks

Maruti’s making the Grand Vitara a total steal. A cheaper hybrid option means more folks can go green without going broke. Six airbags across all trims? That’s peace of mind on every ride. And those extra features—like the powered seat and air purifier—turn your SUV into a cozy, techy hangout. Whether you’re cruising the city or hitting the highway, this ride’s got your back.

Overall, so, there you have it—the 2025 Maruti Grand Vitara is here, and it’s loaded with upgrades that scream value, safety, and style. Starting at Rs 11.42 lakh, it’s ready to roll into your garage. What do you think—hybrid or AWD? Drop your vibes below!
