Body-on-frame diesel motoring is the MU-X, ranging from about Rs 34.53 lakh to Rs 37.71 lakh (ex-showroom).
The current car uses a 1.9-litre diesel engine producing 161 bhp and 360 Nm, with a six-speed automatic, plus a redesigned grille.
Much of the package otherwise follows the outgoing model with small tweaks. It is a traditional SUV for people who want diesel torque and a ladder-frame feel rather than a car-like crossover.
