April is a super energetic month for the car lovers, with some of the most interesting products all set to be launched on the road. Two big SUV launches are in store from Volkswagen and Skoda. The two Germans take on the upcoming performance-oriented Volkswagen Tiguan R Line first on April 14, 2025, along with the second-generation Skoda Kodiaq on April 17. Volkswagen Tiguan R Line Highlight
The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line is a sportier version of the Tiguan, having been tuned for performance in terms of engine, which is a familiar 204bhp, 2.0L turbo-petrol engine, producing a peak torque of 320Nm.
Power is transferred to all four wheels by means of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is done in 7.1 seconds as the top speed limits at 229 kmph.
The VW Tiguan R Line is one such flagship SUV that has premium interiors with lots of advanced features including a 10.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 30 colours ambient lighting, tri-zone climate control, wireless charging, R line-styled sports seats at front, as well as with the adjustable lumbar support and massage function, wireless charging for two smartphones, 9 airbags, hill start assist and hill descent control, level 2 ADAS with 21 functions, and so on.

New Skoda Kodiaq
The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq is going to be offered in two trims. These are the L&K (Lauren and Klement) and Sportline, and will be powered by a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine. The total maximum power of this motor reaches 204bhp and puts out 320Nm of torque. Mated to a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox, this SUV boasts an AWD system yet promises mileage up to 14.86kmpl as claimed by ARAI.
Amidst such features, this new Skoda SUV comprises a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13-inch free floating touchscreen infotainment, a new two spokes steering wheel with 'Skoda' badging, a panoramic sunroof, three zone climate control, heated and ventilated front seats along with massage function in the L&K trim, powered front seats, a 360 camera, park assist amongst many others.
