Maruti Wagon R Leads the Pack: The Maruti Wagon R secured the top spot with nearly 19,500 units sold, marking a 15 per cent increase in year-on-year (YoY) sales.
Tata Punch Takes Second Place: The Tata Punch secured the second position, with close to 18,500 units dispatched. Notably, its month-on-month (MoM) sales surged by almost 500 units, including sales data for the new Punch EV.
Maruti Baleno Trails Close Behind: With over 17,500 units sold, the Maruti Baleno closely followed the Tata Punch, trailing by approximately 1,000 units. However, both its YoY and MoM figures experienced a slight dip.
Notable Performers Among the Rest: Following the Baleno were the Maruti Dzire, Maruti Brezza, Maruti Ertiga, Hyundai Creta, and Mahindra Scorpio, with total sales ranging from 15,000 to 16,000 units. Particularly impressive were the Ertiga and Scorpio, which saw their YoY figures skyrocket by over 100 per cent.
Tata Nexon and Maruti Fronx Hold Steady: The Tata Nexon and Maruti Fronx recorded total sales between 14,000 and 14,500 units. While the Nexon experienced a modest 3 per cent YoY growth, its MoM sales dipped by almost 3,000 units. Notably, Nexon's figures also include sales data for the Nexon EV.
