Tata Safari Facelift Interior Spy Shots Surface

The Tata Safari Facelift spy shots have surfaced and reveal interior changes of the upcoming facelift. The company has been testing the Nexon, Safari, and Harrier for a while now and we can expect a launch around the festive season. The major change in the Tata Safari interiors includes a redesigned dash, steering wheel, and centre console, together it results in a fresh look for the cabin. The steering unit that debuted on the Curvv and Avinya concept has made it to the Safari facelift with a small screen on the steering wheel. Other Tata Safari features include a new Range-Rover-inspired gear selector, new climate control switches, a sizable touchscreen unit and toggle controls. We can also expect a wireless charging pad, ambient lighting, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, and USB ports to name a few.

The on-sale Tata Safari houses a 2.0-litre, in-line, four-cylinder, diesel engine mated to a six-speed automatic or manual producing 167 bhp at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of peak torque at 1,750-2500 rpm. But we can expect the company to offer a new petrol engine with both automatic and manual transmission options for the facelift. The Tata Safari rivals the likes of the MG Hector, and Mahindra XUV 500 to name a few.
