Tata Curvv EV is Now On Display at Showrooms, Test Drives to Begin Soon

The Tata Curvv EV, Tata Motors’ highly anticipated electric SUV-coupe, is now on display at showrooms, with test drives set to begin soon. Prices for the Curvv EV have already been announced, and customers can check out this stylish EV in person at their nearest Tata dealership. Bookings for the Curvv EV will begin on August 12, with deliveries slated to commence from August 23.

Design

The Tata Curvv EV on display in the showroom features the Virtual Sunrise (Blue) dual-tone exterior. It is the top-spec Empowered Plus variant, which includes:

  • Connected LED DRLs and connected LED tail lights with welcome and goodbye animations, sequential turn indicators, and DRLs that also work as a charging indicator.

  • 18-inch aerodynamically styled alloy wheels.

Interior & Features

As the top-spec Empowered Plus variant, the Curvv EV boasts a black and white dual-tone interior with white leatherette upholstery. The steering wheel is also wrapped in black and white leatherette. Key features include:

  • 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system

  • 10.25-inch digital driver’s display

  • 9-speaker JBL-tuned sound system

  • Automatic AC and an air purifier

  • Panoramic sunroof

  • Wireless phone charger

  • Ventilated front seats

  • V2L (vehicle-to-load) and V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) functionality, allow you to power external devices and charge another EV using your own.

Passenger safety is enhanced with 6 airbags (standard), a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, electronic stability control (ESC), a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Powertrain Details

The Tata Curvv EV comes with two battery pack options:

Curvv.ev 45 (Medium Range):

  • Battery Pack: 45 kWh

  • Power: 150 PS

  • Torque: 215 Nm

  • Claimed Range (MIDC): Up to 502 km

Curvv.ev 55 (Long Range):

  • Battery Pack: 55 kWh

  • Power: 167 PS

  • Torque: 215 Nm

  • Claimed Range (MIDC): Up to 585 km

(MIDC - Modified Indian Drive Cycle)

Price & Rivals

The Tata Curvv EV prices range from Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom pan-India). The Curvv EV can be regarded as a stylish alternative to the MG ZS EV and will also rival the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti eVX.
