Tata Curvv & Curvv EV Dark Edition: The Coolest SUVs Just Dropped!

Discover the sleek Tata Curvv & Curvv EV Dark Edition! From all-black style to premium features like sunshades, explore the top 3 highlights of these stunning SUVs.

Tata Motors just rolled out the Tata Curvv and Curvv EV Dark Edition, and they’re turning heads with their sleek looks and awesome features. These SUVs are all about bold vibes, premium style, and next-level comfort. Launched in India, they’re packed with upgrades that make them stand out.

Let’s dive into the top 3 highlights.

1. All-Black Everything: The Ultimate Style Flex

The Dark Editions of the Curvv and Curvv EV are straight-up gorgeous with their glossy black look. From the outside, you get a slick Carbon Black paint job that screams cool. The grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, and roof rails? All blacked out for that stealthy vibe.

Even the headlights and taillights have a smoked effect, and the “Dark” badge on the fenders adds a classy touch.

Inside, it’s just as epic. The cabin rocks an all-black theme with leatherette seats, a black dashboard, and a dark roof liner. The front headrests even have “Dark” lettering for extra swagger. Whether you’re cruising in the petrol, diesel, or electric version, this SUV looks like it’s ready to steal the show.

2. Rear Window Sunshades: Comfort Meets Privacy

Here’s a feature that’s a total game-changer: rear window sunshades!

Both the Curvv and Curvv EV Dark Editions come with these, and trust us, they’re a big deal. Whether you’re chilling in traffic or on a long road trip, these sunshades keep the back seat cool and private.

No more squinting in the sun or feeling like you’re in a fishbowl. It’s a small addition that makes a huge difference, especially for families or anyone who loves a cozy ride.

3. Loaded with Premium Goodies

The Dark Editions aren’t just about looks—they’re packed with high-tech features that make every drive a blast. Based on the top-spec Empowered+ A trim for the Curvv EV and Accomplished variants for the regular Curvv, these SUVs are loaded.

You get a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, and a 9-speaker JBL sound system that’ll make your playlists pop.

Other cool stuff includes a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a wireless phone charger. Safety’s on point too, with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS (think adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist). The Curvv EV even has vehicle-to-load (V2L) charging, so you can power up your gadgets on the go.

Performance That Packs a Punch

Let’s talk power. The Curvv Dark Edition comes with two engine options: a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol (123 HP, 225 Nm) or a 1.5-liter diesel (116 HP, 260 Nm).

You can pick between a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic. The Curvv EV Dark Edition, built on the Empowered+ A trim, uses a 55 kWh battery pack, delivering 167 HP and 215 Nm of torque.

It zips from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.6 seconds and offers a range of up to 585 km. Charging? A 7.2kW AC charger takes 7.9 hours for a full charge, while a 70kW DC fast charger gets you from 10% to 80% in 40 minutes.

Price and Availability: Worth the Hype?

The Curvv Dark Edition starts at ₹16.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol version, with the top-spec diesel hitting ₹19.52 lakh. The Curvv EV Dark Edition is priced at ₹22.24 lakh, a ₹25,000 premium over the standard Empowered+ A trim.

Bookings are open for just ₹21,000, so you can secure one now! These prices make the Dark Editions a bit pricier, but the style and features totally justify the cost.

Why You’ll Love the Dark Edition

The Tata Curvv and Curvv EV Dark Editions are all about standing out. The all-black theme gives them a premium, almost futuristic vibe, while the added sunshades and loaded features make them super practical.

Whether you’re into petrol, diesel, or electric, there’s a Dark Edition for you. Plus, with Tata’s promise for safety and reliability, these SUVs are built to impress.

The Competition

The Curvv Dark Edition takes on rivals like the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition and MG Astor Blackstorm, while the Curvv EV Dark Edition goes head-to-head with the Mahindra BE 6 and MG Windsor EV. With its unique coupe-SUV design and bold styling, the Curvv holds its own in this crowded market.

Overall, Tata’s Curvv and Curvv EV Dark Editions are a killer combo of style, tech, and performance. The all-black look is a total head-turner, the sunshades add everyday comfort, and the premium features make every drive feel special. If you’re hunting for an SUV that’s as cool as it is practical, these Dark Editions are worth checking out.
