Prices for the Tata Sierra Have Been Revealed: What You Should Know

The new Tata Sierra comes with a variety of powertrain options and variations, including diesel, turbo-petrol, and gasoline engines mated to manual, dual-clutch, and automatic transmissions. The Sierra presents itself as a powerful value-driven SUV in its class with the formal release of the prices for the Smart+, Pure, and Adventure trims. Families and enthusiasts seeking a fashionable yet functional SUV will find it intriguing because of its combination of contemporary features, retro-inspired appearance, and competitive pricing.

  • The new Tata Sierra variant-wise ex-showroom costs for the entry-level Smart+, Pure, and Adventure trims are revealed.

  • Provides an overview of the features, engine and gearbox options, and position of the Sierra in the SUV market.

The ex-showroom prices for the 2025 Tata Sierra's Smart+, Pure, and Adventure models have been formally released by the manufacturer. The starting price of the petrol-manual Smart+ trim is ₹11.49 lakh. The price of a diesel-manual Smart+ is ₹12.99 lakh.

Here's a brief summary:

Variant / PowertrainPrice (ex-showroom)

What the Sierra Offers: Style, Features, and Engines

Tata has brought the Sierra moniker back to life by fusing contemporary SUV styling with vintage design characteristics. The exterior pays homage to the original Sierra's boxy charm with its distinctive boxy, upright stance, flush door handles, full-width LED DRL arrangement, and flat tailgate.

Along with modern amenities like beige-white upholstery, an illuminated steering wheel, and an extensive array of comfort and technological options, the Sierra's interior boasts a three-screen dashboard arrangement (digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment, and passenger-side display).

A 1.5-liter normally aspirated gasoline engine, a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine are among the available powertrains. Depending on the model, manual, dual-clutch, and automatic transmission options are available.

Even in base trims, safety and convenience are adequately covered: the base Smart+ is a reasonably well-equipped package with dual-channel ABS with EBD, several airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, stability control, rear AC vents, and useful driver aids.

What It Signifies for the Market and Buyers

The Sierra aggressively sets itself against competitors in the compact/mid-size SUV market with a starting price of less than ₹12 lakh. For many consumers, this may mean obtaining SUV style, a variety of engine options, and an extensive feature set at a cost comparable to even smaller vehicles.

Customers have a choice based on their needs and budget because of the large selection of trims, which range from feature-rich to affordable. The entire value proposition of Sierra will become more apparent when additional variations are priced.

For individuals who intend to make a reservation, the official booking window is anticipated to open on December 16, 2025, and deliveries are anticipated to start in the middle of January 2026.
