Pratap Sarnaik, Minister for Transportation, announced the establishment of an autonomous RTO for Palghar with the notification 'MH-59.'
Among the major developments in the district of Palghar was the Trumpet by the Transport Minister of the State, Pratap Sarnaik, who approved the establishment of an independent Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Palghar.
Sarnaik made the announcement today during the launching ceremony of a "Lok Darbar" (people's court) in Palghar, assuring within the next week the passing of the government resolution. The RTO will be separate from Palghar from that at Virar.
People's Minister Sarnaik now saw the citizens of Palghar at the District Collector's office, Lok Darbar. The Guardian Minister for Dharashiv district further promised that he would fix all these 'Palhar' issues closely linked to former Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Doing this will provide him an opportunity to see for himself how the complaints of the denizens are being resolved against various government schemes.
Approval for an independent RTO fell under the waiting pressure and long follow-ups made by other Shiv Sena with almost all being from the local-political leadership such as a contact person and the district chief in Palghar states.
Hopefully, this will allow operations of the new RTO to substantiate itself within the current month, as implementation of the very swift formality will commence with the actual issue of the government resolution.
No Travel Hassles for Residents
Local residents of Palghar have seen a lot of suffering, with a lot of them having to travel to Vasai taluka for any registration or service approvals related to their vehicles. This was an issue as old as the demand for an RTO for Palghar on state land. The associations of auto-rickshaw drivers and owners, forming the backbone of the public transport system in the area, endorsed this approval.
Significantly for individual districts, minister Sarnaik announced that the new RTO in Palghar would hold the special vehicle registration series "MH-59." The area has been specified for about 10 acres in Umroli close to the district headquarters.
