The Nissan X-Trail has finally made its debut in the Indian market, launching at a starting price of ₹49.94 lakh (ex-showroom). This three-row SUV, which was first introduced in international markets, enters India as a full import. To attract buyers, Nissan offers a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty along with free roadside assistance for three years.

Key Features and Specifications

Exterior

The exterior of the Nissan X-Trail boasts a contemporary design featuring a distinctive split headlight configuration and a large V-motion grille that gives the SUV a bold and aggressive look. The rear is complemented by sleek LED tail lights that enhance its modern aesthetics. Adding to its robust appearance are the 20-inch alloy wheels, which not only provide stability but also elevate the vehicle's overall visual appeal.

Dimensions

In terms of dimensions, the Nissan X-Trail measures 4680 mm in length, 1840 mm in width, and 1725 mm in height, making it a spacious and comfortable SUV. It has a wheelbase of 2705 mm, which ensures ample legroom for passengers. The ground clearance stands at 210 mm, allowing the vehicle to navigate through rough terrains and city roads with ease.

Interior

The entertainment system includes wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, accessible via an 8-inch touchscreen that serves as the central control for media and navigation. The instrument cluster is fully digital, featuring a 12.3-inch display that provides all the necessary driving information at a glance. Comfort is further enhanced by features such as paddle shifters, a panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone air conditioning. The seating arrangement includes sliding and reclining second-row seats, along with split-folding second and third-row seats, offering versatility and ample space for passengers and cargo.

Safety Features

Safety is a top priority for the Nissan X-Trail, which is equipped with seven airbags to protect occupants in the event of a collision. The controlled slip differential ensures better handling and stability, especially on slippery surfaces. Front and rear parking sensors, along with a 360-degree camera, provide enhanced visibility and make parking in tight spaces easier and safer.

Powertrain

Under the hood, the Nissan X-Trail is powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a 12V mild-hybrid system. This powertrain delivers a robust performance with an output of 163 hp and 300 Nm of peak torque.
