Jeep has included a new dollop of go-anywhere charm to its range of SUVs with the debut of the Compass and Meridian Trail Editions priced between Rs 25.41 lakh - 37.27 lakh (ex-showroom).
These special editions, announced on July 15, 2025, combine both aesthetic and feature improvements based on the off-road heritage of the brand and are supposed to attract lifestyle-driven buyers that want more than simple urban utility.
Special styling options on Compass and Meridian
The Longitude (O) model lies in the basis of the Compass Trail Edition, and features a rather unusual new look. It has got exclusive hood and sides decals, matte details on the grille and imparts Neutral grey ample would be spread over the grille rings, ORVMs and DLO together with the badges. Its 18 inch alloy comes in Granite Metallic Satin Gloss with an added contrasting roof rail design.
Internally, Compass Trail Edition trim gets Black leatherette seats with Red stitching, camo-themed floor mats with Trail markings, and Red accents in dashboard inserts, all of which makes the cabin feel more outdoorsy.
Meridian Trail Edition, as it is called, is the higher level of the SUV (based on its premium line) with Trail Edition pins, a gloss black roof and the like of Neutral grey-accented onto the grille, headlamps and on the body claddings.
Sophistication is incorporated in the bezel of the fog lamp, DLO and the rear fascia with piano black details, whilst rugged skid plates and themed scuff plates appeal to its off-road personality. It features camouflage appliques, Piano Black trim and its interior sports Black vinyl seats with Ruby Red accents.
Jeep Trust Ownership Package
The two Trail Editions are packaged with the “Jeep Trust” an all-inclusive ownership package. The Compass Trail Edition offers a 3 year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), 5 years extended warranty and direct cash benefits of Rs 20,000, to its buyers.
The Meridian Trail Edition also comes with a 3 years AMC as a part of their package, which further enhances its owning worth.
These Trail Editions are the next step in building the brand identity of Jeep as a lifestyle SUV in India, as it goes after customers who are looking to buy a car with a lot of fringe benefits added to the car itself.
