New Audi RS Q8 Performance Bookings Open in India: Power Meets Luxury

Audi India has opened bookings for the RS Q8 Performance, its most powerful SUV, ahead of its February 17, 2025 launch. Priced above the standard RS Q8 facelift, this 631bhp twin-turbo V8 beast accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. With bold styling, a premium interior, and cutting-edge tech, it promises an unparalleled driving experience for luxury performance enthusiasts.

Audi India has officially opened bookings for its high-performance SUV, the RS Q8 Performance, ahead of its launch on February 17, 2025. Interested buyers can secure their unit with a token amount of ₹5 lakh, but availability will be limited in India. This new range-topping variant of the RS Q8 facelift, which was globally revealed in June 2024, is the fastest SUV to conquer the Nürburgring Nordschleife, setting it apart from its rivals.

With a stunning design, luxurious interiors, and a powerful V8 engine, the RS Q8 Performance is set to be one of the most exciting SUV launches of the year.

Audi RS Q8 Performance: Bold and Aggressive Styling

The RS Q8 Performance receives a sportier and more aggressive design than the standard Q8 facelift, which is priced at ₹1.17 crore (ex-showroom, India).

Exterior Enhancements Include:

  • Larger air intakes in the front bumper for improved cooling

  • Blacked-out exhaust pipes for a sportier look

  • A more prominent diffuser for enhanced aerodynamics

  • Bigger and bolder front grille that commands attention

These styling updates give the RS Q8 Performance a distinct presence, reinforcing its racing DNA while maintaining its SUV practicality.

Interior: Luxurious Yet Sporty

Inside, Audi has equipped the RS Q8 Performance with a high-tech, premium cabin that balances luxury and sportiness.

Key Interior Highlights:

  • All-black interior with red accents on seats, doors, and steering wheel

  • Dual touchscreen layout:

  • 10-inch infotainment display

  • 8.5-inch touchscreen for climate control functions

  • 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster for driver-focused information

  • Panoramic sunroof for an airy cabin feel

  • Four-zone climate control for personalized comfort

  • Wireless charging & connected car tech

The cabin of the RS Q8 Performance is designed to cater to luxury enthusiasts while still delivering an immersive driving experience.

Engine & Performance: Unmatched Power

The RS Q8 Performance is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, making it one of the most powerful SUVs in Audi’s lineup.

Performance Specifications:

  • 631bhp & 850Nm of torque

  • 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds

  • Top speed of over 305 km/h (with optional performance package)

  • Audi’s Quattro AWD system & sport differential for superior handling

In comparison, the standard RS Q8 facelift produces 592bhp and 800Nm, completing the 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.8 seconds. This makes the Performance variant a true powerhouse, built for those who crave exhilarating speed with everyday usability.

Official Statement From Audi India

Speaking about the launch, Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, stated:

“The new Audi RS Q8 is the peak of performance SUV engineering, combining incredible power and everyday utility. Its distinctive look and superb driving characteristics appeal to a new generation of performance fans seeking both luxury and an exciting driving experience.”

He further added:

“With improved features and the most powerful engine, the new Audi RS Q8 Performance is intended to deliver an unrivalled driving experience. We are pleased to share that bookings are now open, allowing sports car enthusiasts to secure their unit early, as availability is limited.”

Conclusion

With class-leading performance, luxurious features, and an aggressive design, the Audi RS Q8 Performance is set to make waves in the high-performance SUV segment. Whether you're looking for a track-ready powerhouse or a luxurious everyday drive, this SUV offers the best of both worlds.

With limited availability, interested buyers should book at the earliest to secure their unit before it sells out!
