MG Windsor EV Pro Gets New Exclusive Pro Variant with Lower Price and Rich Features

MG Motor India strengthens the Windsor EV portfolio with the addition of a new Exclusive Pro variant. Positioned below the fully loaded Essence Pro, this new Exclusive Pro variant provides a commendable set of features, with a 449km travel range, in a tight pricing range, and even more attractive with the inclusion of a BaaS Battery as a scheme starting only from ₹12.24 lakh.

JSW MG Motor India has introduced a new variant to the all-electric Windsor EV portfolio called Exclusive Pro. This newly launched model is strategically located between the other current Essence and Essence Pro variants to provide very good features and range for just a tick less in price for EV buyers looking for a fully equipped car in the mid-premium electric car space.

Pricing and Availability

MG Windsor Exclusive Pro has a fixed price of ₹ 17.25 lakh if you take an outright purchase option. Alternatively, if you choose to finance it under MG's dedicated BaaS (Battery as a Service) program, your vehicle will cost ₹ 12.24 lakh with a battery subscription fee of ₹ 4.50/km.

Bookings are open for the Exclusive Pro and you can book for ₹ 11,000 (inclusive of taxes) with all deliveries slated to begin from the first week of June 2025.

Powertrain and Range

Windsor EV Exclusive top variant of the EV range features the same electric powertrain as the flagship vehicle Essence Pro. It uses a 52.9kWh battery pack and a single electric motor that delivers a claimed range of 449km (taken from MIDC cycle). This practical range makes it well suited as an everyday vehicle around town or as an occasional long-distance vehicle.

Features and Design

This new variant offers a package of style and comfort:

  • 18-inch alloy wheels with a machine finish

  • A dual-tone interior theme in Black and Ivory

  • 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment package

  • Nine-speaker premium sound package

In terms of colors, buyers may take their pick of three maintainable and striking options - Pearl White, Starry Black, and Turquoise Green.

Positioned Between Value and Luxury

The Exclusive Pro from Windsor is a great substitute for the top-of-the-line Essence Pro, which was announced at a price of ₹17.50 lakh but is now priced at ₹18.10 lakh due to high demand and it being taken off its initial pricing. With the Essence Pro gathering more than 8,000 bookings in 24 hours earlier this month, MG is trying to ride the wave by introducing the Exclusive Pro at a more cost comparison-friendly price.

MG is strengthening its position as a player in the potential EV market in India with its feature-rich offer and dual pricing structure through the BaaS program.
