MG Expands Its Premium 'MG Select' Network to 14 Branches Across India

MG is gearing up to revolutionize the Indian auto scene by opening 14 exclusive MG Select showrooms in key cities. With a cool lineup that includes the all-electric roadster Cyberster and the luxurious electric MPV M9, the brand promises a fresh, premium driving experience for modern car enthusiasts.

MG is all set to shake up the premium car market in India. The popular carmaker is rolling out its brand-new MG Select showrooms across the country. In this first phase, 14 new branches are scheduled to open in 13 major cities, giving car lovers a chance to explore MG’s classy and innovative lineup in a dedicated, premium setting.

The MG Select showrooms are not just regular dealerships; perhaps they’re designed to offer an exclusive, next-level buying experience. By creating a network of high-end showrooms, MG is positioning itself as a major player in the premium auto world.

This move is a clear sign that MG is serious about bringing cutting-edge electric vehicles and top-notch customer service to every corner of India.

Expanding Across India: Where to Find MG Select

MG is planning to spread its premium presence far and wide. In this first wave, MG Select will cover 13 cities with 14 branches, making sure no major region is left out.

Here’s a quick look at some of the cities and the partners chosen to manage these outlets:

  • Mumbai: Krishiv Auto

  • Delhi: Shiva MotoCorp

  • Bengaluru (Two Branches): One by Jubilant Motorworks and another by Aiconic Automotives

  • Hyderabad: Jayalaskmi Motors

  • Pune: Nova SELECT

  • Chennai: FPL Vehicles

  • Ahmedabad: Aeromark Cars

  • Kolkata: Aeromark Cars

  • Kochi: Coastal SELECT

  • Chandigarh: Krishna Motor

  • Thane: Tejpal Motors

  • Gurgaon: Jubilant Motorworks

  • Surat: Opulent Auto

This widespread network means that wherever you are—from the bustling streets of Delhi to the cool vibes of Bengaluru—MG Select is coming closer to you. The idea is to make it easy for car buyers to get a taste of premium innovation and quality without having to travel far.

Introducing the Cool New Lineup: Cyberster and M9

MG is not just expanding its retail network; it’s also set to impress with its cool range of electric vehicles under the MG Select banner. Two standout models are already turning heads:

MG Cyberster – The First All-Electric Roadster

Imagine a car that combines style, speed, and eco-friendliness all at once. That’s the MG Cyberster for you! This all-electric roadster is a first for MG in India.

It is powered by a 77 kWh battery, promising a driving range of about 443 kilometers under the WLTP cycle. What makes it exciting is its ability to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds—thanks to a dual motor setup delivering 510 PS and 725 Nm of torque.

Although the base price might look steep at around Rs 80 lakh, the innovative battery-as-a-service model could bring that price down to nearly Rs 50 lakh. With pre-bookings already open, enthusiasts can expect the launch around March 2025.

MG M9 – The Premium Electric MPV

Next up is the MG M9, also known globally as the Mifa 9. This premium electric MPV made its debut at the Auto Expo 2025 and has been the talk of the town ever since.

The M9 is all about comfort and luxury. With features like ventilated, heated, and even massaging seats for both the front and second rows, it aims to redefine long journeys. Powered by a 90 kWh battery, it offers a claimed range of 430 kilometers.

Under the hood, a single motor produces 245 PS and 350 Nm of torque, making it a smooth and powerful ride. Expected to be priced around Rs 70 lakh, the M9 is also set for a March 2025 launch.

Why This Matters for Car Lovers

MG’s move to set up MG Select dealerships is a big win for car enthusiasts. Here’s why:

  • Exclusive Experience: The MG Select showrooms are tailored to offer a premium buying experience with a focus on quality service and a modern, stylish ambiance.

  • Innovative Electric Vehicles: With the Cyberster and M9 leading the charge, MG is making it easier for customers to embrace the electric future.

  • Convenience: With branches in major cities, MG’s premium offerings are now within easy reach for many.

  • Future-Ready: The planned expansion and the upcoming launches show MG’s commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility in India.

Overall, by combining innovative products like the Cyberster and the M9 with a top-notch customer experience, MG is set to make a lasting impact on the Indian automotive scene. Whether you’re an EV enthusiast or just looking for a taste of premium quality, MG Select is your new go-to destination for the future of mobility.
