Maruti Ertiga Prices Increased by ₹12,500 Across Variants

Maruti Suzuki has increased prices for its popular MPV, the Ertiga, by ₹12,500 across all variants. This hike applies to both petrol and CNG versions, effective immediately. The new pricing structure takes the ex-showroom price range from ₹8.96 lakh to ₹13.25 lakh, impacting value-conscious buyers

Maruti Ertiga

It is now a common increase of ₹12,500 for all the Ertiga variants from Maruti Suzuki. This new update in pricing will now take effect immediately for all petrol and CNG models, as well as for transmissions.

The MPV has an enduring and illustrious popularity as one of the country's leaders in its segment and is retailing through Maruti's Arena dealership. The updated ex-showroom prices now start from ₹8.96 lakh for the entry-level LXi variant and go up to ₹13.25 lakh for the top-end ZXi+ variant.

Variant-Wise Update and Powertrain Details

The Ertiga can be brought in four trims:

  • LXi

  • VXi

  • ZXi

  • ZXi+

It has a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that powers the MPV. This engine is also available in a CNG variant for buyers wanting to take care of running costs. The transmission is either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic with torque converter.

Most importantly, this hike in rates is uniformly across all kinds of fuel and attachments, meaning that even the CNG versions now bear the price of ₹12,500 higher.

Other models of Maruti affected

The price hike does not only end with the Ertiga. Maruti Suzuki has also announced a recent price increase on the cross-over Fronx and the XL6 MPV, which is a more premium product offered through the Nexa network. The price increases reflect a major adjustment and have happened because of inflating input and manufacturing costs.

Is it wise to buy it now?

If you are thinking of getting yourself an Ertiga, the new price might push you to become quick to decide before any further hike occurs. Despite the increase, the cost makes it one of the cheapest and most practical MPVs in its segment and provides high value backed up by trusted Maruti reliability and service network.
