Mahindra’s Biggest Year Yet: Over 5.5 Lakh SUVs Sold in FY25!

Mahindra's FY25 was a record-breaking year with over 5.5 lakh SUVs sold, driven by new launches like the Thar Roxx and a surge in electric vehicle demand. Exports also soared, cementing their global presence.

Mahindra, one of the most demanding brands, has yet again proven its worth with its sales figure for the incredible financial year that it witnessed in 2024-2025 (FY25 for short), selling a whopping 5,51,487 SUVs. That’s over 5.5 lakh SUVs hitting the roads, their best number ever!

Compared to the previous year, their sales shot up by more than 20%. Also, it’s the first time they’ve crossed the 5-lakh mark in a single year, which is surely a huge win for Mahindra! Let's break it down for you.

March Madness: Record Sales

March was a massive month for Mahindra. They sold 48,048 vehicles in India alone, an 18% jump from the same month last year. What’s more, they started delivering their awesome Electric Origin SUVs, and people are loving them! Demand is sky-high, proving Mahindra’s on top of their game.

Key Launches Drive Success

The question remains the same: How?

Well, it's not any particular secret, but the hot new models that they rolled out, including the Thar Roxx launched on Independence Day 2024, which was a smash hit, breaking all records.

Electric Future: Mahindra Goes Green

Mahindra isn’t just sticking to traditional SUVs, they’re going electric! Their new Electric Origin SUVs are sleek, eco-friendly, and loaded with tech, and as the world moves toward greener rides, Mahindra’s timing is spot-on because these electric beauties are flying off the shelves, showing that green is the new cool.

Global Growth: Exports Soar

Mahindra didn’t just shine in India, they went big globally too! In March, they exported 4,143 cars, a jaw-dropping 163% increase from last year. Over the whole year, they shipped out 34,709 cars, up 41% from FY24. That’s Mahindra taking over roads all around the world!

Commercial Vehicles: Steady Performance

It’s not just SUVs stealing the show. Mahindra’s commercial vehicles stayed strong, with around 3.5 lakh units sold—about 15,000 more than the year before. That’s a steady performance, keeping their business humming along nicely.

In a nutshell, Mahindra has no plans to slow down anytime in the future with the sales figure. Well, FY205 was indeed a wild ride with the launch of models like Thar Roxx that broke the internet even before the launch. Let's see what more cool cars with big wins come next!
