The XUV700 has crossed the 1.5 lakh reservations milestone, according to MAHINDRA, one of the world's most reasonably priced and fuel-efficient SUV manufacturers. Mahindra has already had tremendous success with this specific SUV. Before Diwali last year, the manufacturer received over 70,000 bookings for its new model SUV, and as of today, Mahindra XUV700 has exceeded 1.5 lakh bookings in just over 11 months.
A monocoque chassis, a panoramic sunroof, twin screens, a six- or seven-seat arrangement, flush-fitting door handles, a tech-forward interior, automatic parking brakes, 18-inch alloy wheels, and Level 2 ADAS features are all included in the XUV700, the indigenous automaker's flagship model. The SUV's petrol versions feature Mahindra's brand-new 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine, which produces 197 horsepower and a hefty 280 Nm of torque across all models.
The SUV's 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine is manufactured by Mahindra. Hawk turbo-diesel engine in two states of tune, producing 153 horsepower and 360 Nm in the MX series and a more amazing 182 hp and 420 Nm or 450 Nm when combined with the automatic in the AX series.
Mahindra first offered the XUV700 for Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), but prices have subsequently increased and now start at Rs 13.18 lakh (ex-showroom).
