The country's popular car manufacturer Mahindra is working on expanding its EV lineup with the launch of new vehicles. The brand had showcased several electric vehicles that will be joining their lineup in 2022. Recently its BE.05 EV was spotted during testing, which is expected to be launched in October 2025.

The BE.05 has a coupe-like design and despite being an SUV, it looks quite sporty. Its door handles are quite interesting and have been taken from the XUV700. Mahindra has designed the BE.05 on the INGLO platform. At the same time, its rear door handles are installed on the C-pillar. There is an integrated spoiler on the rear tailgate window, which will help reduce drag and increase efficiency. Mahindra will also offer a panoramic sunroof in this EV.
Dimension: Mahindra BE.05 has been designed on the INGLO platform. The same platform will also be used for other electric vehicles made by Mahindra. The length of the electric coupe SUV will be 4,370 mm, width will be 1,900 mm and height will be 1,635 mm. Its wheelbase will be 2,775 mm.
What is special about the INGLO platform?
INGLO is a scalable platform, ideal for vehicles between 4.3m to 5m. Mahindra has placed the wheels of its EV on the side, while the battery pack is in the floorboard. It has been given a flat floor.
