Hyundai i20 Magna Executive Launched with CVT & Sunroof from ₹7.51 Lakh

Hyundai has expanded its i20 lineup - the Magna Executive which includes more features for urban finance drivers and urban lifestyle buyers at a strategic pricing level. The Magna Executive is offered with manual and CVT options and includes modern basics, such as six airbags, electronic stability control, and sunroof (on the auto), to fill the safety and style gap for the young and coming urban finance and lifestyle drivers.

Hyundai Motor India has added a new Magna Executive model to its i20 hatchback segment - providing continued value in the premium entry segment. With the introduction of this new hatchback at MSRP ₹7.51 lakh (manual) and ₹8.89 lakh (CVT) (ex-showroom).

The new model sits above and adds additional features to the Magna and sits just below the Sportz, thus reducing the miss gap in considering safety, class and more comfort.

Magna Executive: A Value-Packed Upgrade

The i20 Magna Executive intends to showcase the premium equipment features for a reasonable price. On the manual option, customers are offered critical safety items such as six-airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and Hill Assist Control along with 15-inch steel wheels, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and a digital instrument cluster with a Multi-Information Display (MID) system.

The CVT (automatic) version of the Magna Executive has the same features as the manual, along with the added premium features of an electric sunroof, rear AC vents, LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and a front centre console with storage and armrest making it quite suitable for city dwellers looking for a very comfortable and convenient drive.

More Upgrades Will Come Across the Range

Hyundai has updated not only the Magna Executive variant but also upgraded the Sportz (O) variant. An interesting feature for this particular model is it now has an upgraded seven-speaker Bose system, push start/stop button, upgraded automatic climate control display, thus reaffirming the i20 tech-focused model.

Finally, buyers will also have the option to purchase a ₹15,000 genuine accessories pack, which includes a 10-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay options and a rear parking camera, further enhancing the in-cabin experience.

Verdict

Hyundai is sharpening its position in the premium hatchback category with the Magna Executive. With the new variant making the i20 more attractive to safety-focused and tech-savvy buyers, it competes extremely well in a market full of options.
