Ferrari 296 GTB to be launched in Late April

A new era for Ferrari is ushered in by the 296 GTB and 296 GTS, which combine hybrid technology with classic performance. Whether a person loves the sleek lines of a coupe or the excitement of driving a convertible, the decision between the two mostly boils down to personal preference regarding body form.

The 296 has a short-distance electric-only driving mode as part of Ferrari's quest towards hybridization. The 7.45 kWh battery pack included in the GTB and GTS has a restricted electric range.

Ferrari 296 to celebrate its world premiere at April end

According to media and auto enthusiasts, this hotter 296 VS is expected to celebrate its world premiere at the end of April.

The 296 will continue to be offered as a coupe and convertible, just like the 488 Pista. Sources suggest that the design of its back end is very fascinating. The final power output is estimated to be roughly 70bhp more than that of the 296. The entire output should be about 900 horsepower if that turns out to be the case, and it may even reach 920 horsepower in parallel with the new Lamborghini Temerario.

Powertrain of Ferrari 296

At the moment, the 296 has a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine and an electric motor. The V6's 610 horsepower plus the electric motor's 166 horsepower add up to about 818 horsepower. The 296 takes about 2.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph. The maximum speed is approximately 330 kmph.

Conclusion

The Ferrari 296 GTB, with an 818 horsepower, upgraded model is expected to boast a significant power increase, potentially pushing the total output to around 900-920 horsepower, rivaling the Lamborghini Temerario. While details are still scarce, the 296 VS promises to be a thrilling addition to the Ferrari lineup, building upon the existing coupe and convertible models. Enthusiasts eagerly await its official unveiling to see the extent of its performance enhancements and design refinements
