Tata Motors has unwrapped the 2025 Altroz facelift, which is the first significant design revamp since the model launched in 2020. The facelift model will hit the market from May 22 and is set to strengthen Tata's foothold in the premium hatchback segment with new styling and a feature-upgraded list.
Exterior Changes: Bold and Modern
The facelift introduces a completely overhauled front fascia, taking on Tata's new-generation design language borrowed from the likes of the Nexon, Curvv, Harrier, and Safari.
Key points are:
New grille pattern
Twin-LED headlamps with slimmer LED DRLs
Updated front and rear bumpers
Flush-fitting door handles
Integrated LED tail light strip in place of wraparound lamps
New alloy wheel designs
These updates give the Altroz a more aggressive, sharper stance and enhance aerodynamic efficiency. The facelift will be available in five colours:
Dune Glow

Pure Grey
Royal Blue, and

Interior Improvements and Features
Inside, the Altroz gets a cleaner, more premium dashboard design inspired by newer Tata models. Some of the key features now available across more trims are:

Powertrain: No Changes Under the Hood
Tata Motors continues with the tried-and-true engine lineup:
1.2L naturally aspirated petrol – 84 bhp
1.5L diesel – 89 bhp
Transmission: 5-speed manual or 6-speed DCT
The Altroz Racer trim, for the performance seekers, will have:
1.2L turbo-petrol engine – 118 bhp, 170 Nm
6-speed manual transmission only
