The Tata Altroz facelift 2025 is almost here, with Tata Motors confirmed to launch the facelifted variant on May 22, 2025. However, as usual, some Tata dealerships in India have started taking unofficial bookings. If you are looking for a new premium hatchback, here is the revised Altroz.
New Exterior With Sporty Looks
The facelifted Altroz gets a mild but significant redesign. The updated Altroz utilises dual pod LED headlamps, and a nice touch, eyebrow-style DRLs. Additionally, it gets new pixel-type LED fog lamps that make the Altroz even more futuristic. The blacked-out bits on the bumpers give the Altroz a sporty appearance at the same time.
From the side, the updated 16-inch alloy wheels get a new 5-spoke dual-tone design, with new flush-fitting illuminated door handles for the front doors that further enhance the premium appeal.
At the rear, a new connected LED taillight bar provides a bolder appearance, making the rear hatch look wider.
Updated Cabin with Premium Fixes
Inside, the 2025 Altroz makes a big leap in tech advances and comfort levels. Here's how.
Tata has fitted a new dashboard with a 10.25-inch updated infotainment system, a segment-first 10.25-inch full-screen digital instrument cluster, a new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, touch-based AC controls, and beige upholstery, thus further positioning the Altroz as a premium hatchback in the market.
Other highlights include an updated centre armrest with dual cup holders added and enhanced material quality with substantial updates throughout the cabin.
Feature-Rich and Safety-Oriented
Key features include a single pane sunroof, cruise control, auto folding ORVMs, auto climate controls with rear AC vents, new electronic power assist technology, push start/stop function, height-adjustable driver seat.
For safety, Tata continues to build off their strong safety and safety features push with six airbags standard, 360-degree camera, a blind spot monitor, ISOFIX anchors, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), three-point seatbelt for all occupants.
Motors and Variants
No mechanical changes shaped up that we know of yet, and the facelift is expected to carry over the current engine line-up:
1.2L NA petrol (88 PS, 115 Nm)
1.2L CNG (73.5 PS, 103 Nm)
1.5L diesel (90 PS, 200 Nm)
The transmission options will still be a 5-speed manual and 6-speed DCT for petrol variants.
The 2025 Altroz will have 5 trims offered - Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S, and Accomplished Plus S.
Pricing and Competition
We expect to start from Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, the Altroz will continue to compete with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza and Hyundai i20.
With its styling updates, tech improvements, and extra features the 2025 Altroz should be one of the most desirable purchases in the segment.
