Bentley has raised the stakes in the ultra-luxury segment by introducing the 2025 Bentayga Speed, the most powerful and fastest SUV the brand has ever made. The 2025 model features a new V8 engine in place of the Bentley signature W12, with a more compact engine that has more output and shows no signs of slowing down (figuratively or literally).
More Power, Less Weight, Blistering Speed
The new Bentayga Speed puts its faith in a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which is producing a top-of-the-range 650 hp, an increase of 15 hp over the W12 model, and 850 Nm of torque with the assistance of an 8-speed automatic transmission.
In addition to better power output, it is also 42kg lighter than the competitive W12 V8 specification. The new Bentayga Speed weighs in at 2,466kg kerb weight.
But numbers are just numbers while being used by NOVITEC, a performance engineering company, the performance particulars read 3.6 seconds (0 to 100 kmph) with an impressive top speed of 310 kmph, therefore making it quicker than the previous generation and one of the quickest SUVs available.
There is also an Akrapovic exhaust system (optional) with titanium for consumers who want more of a note.
More Driving Dynamics and Sharper Handling
There are plenty of drive modes - Bentley has improved that as well. Now, when in Sport mode, the EDC is stiffened by 15 percent, and it relaxes the ESC for end-to-end spirited and even drift-style driving. Combine that with rear-wheel steering and the Bentayga Speed is just as confident in tight spaces on city streets or high-speed corners.
Styling and Interior: Speed Meets Style
The new 2025 Bentayga Speed shows off Speed-specific badging, 22-inch alloy wheels, and optional 23-inch wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes. Unique digital displays for the driver's cockpit are complemented by Speed embroidery on the seats and badging on treadplates and dashboards that remind you of the brute power you're seated in.
The Bentley SUV doesn't just haul its passengers along in extravagant luxury, it's still fun; visceral power and razor-sharp dynamics await. The new Bentayga Speed is a performance luxury vehicle that defines this category, paving the way for competitors like the Lamborghini Urus SE and Aston Martin DBX 707.
