With 19,393 units sold of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift in May 2024, Maruti Suzuki has taken the lead. It is now the best-selling car of the month, with sales up 12% from the same period last year. After topping the list in April, the Tata Punch is now lagging.
Three hatchbacks from Maruti Suzuki are among the top 10. The only one of them with year-over-year (YoY) sales growth is the Swift. Sales of the Wagon R and Baleno, however, decreased.
