The Tata Curvv is a stylish and modern SUV-coupe that stands out with its futuristic design and strong road presence. Its sleek silhouette, sharp LED lighting, and premium exterior styling make it one of the most attractive vehicles in its segment. On the road, the Curvv delivers a balanced driving experience with good ride comfort and stable handling. The available petrol, diesel, and electric powertrain options provide flexibility for different types of buyers. Safety is another strong point, with Tata offering multiple airbags, electronic stability control, and other advanced safety technologies. Being a Tata car, it instills a strong sense of safety and confidence. The build quality feels exceptionally solid, almost tank-like, which is one of its biggest strengths. I have driven it for 300–400 km in a single day, and the overall comfort is quite good. Long drives are not tiring, making it a capable companion for extended journeys. However, the biggest drawback of this car is undoubtedly its fuel efficiency. The mileage is disappointingly poor, especially in city conditions. In heavy urban traffic, the mileage can drop as low as 6 km/l, and this is not an exaggeration. On highways, with smooth and consistent driving, you can expect around 13–14 km/l. Since most of my driving is within the city, I regularly calculate fuel efficiency using the tank-full-to-tank-full method (total kilometers driven divided by fuel consumed). Based on multiple measurements, I consistently get around 6.5–7 km/l. While the car excels in safety, build quality, and driving comfort, its low fuel economy is a significant downside that potential buyers should carefully consider.
