The Porsche Macan petrol will now only be available with an entry-level engine because the German brand has stopped the S and GTS variants of the SUV and delisted them from its website.
According to Porsche India, new orders for the Macan S and GTS can't be placed, but there are a few numbers available with dealers to get for customers.
The complete range of the Porsche Macan in India
Macan is now offered in 1 petrol and 3 electric variants, with an initial price tag of Rs 96.05 lakh and going all the way up to Rs 1.69 crore.
That was all about the fact current Porsche Macan petrol is slowly creeping up towards oblivion around the globe- it was put off sale in the EU in April last year-and by next year, it is supposed to be removed from the shelves. It is now the only Macan petrol that comes with a 265 hp, 400 N m, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, costing Rs 96.05 lakh.
When sharing the 2.9-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine, the Macan S had it tuned to develop 380 hp and 520 Nm, while the GTS version was even more powerful with 440 hp and 550 Nm. The Macan S costs Rs 1.45 crore while the Macan GTS comes in at Rs 1.53 crore.
Not much has changed in Porsche Macan Electric Prices in India, Macan Electric (Rs 1.22 crore), Macan 4S Electric (Rs 1.39 crore), and Turbo Electric (Rs 1.69 crore) - these are Porsche's smaller e-SUV variants available in India.

Porsche India model prices (ex-showroom, India, in crores Rs)
Porsche India also increased prices across the rest of its offerings. The price hike on the Porsche 911 ranged from Rs 9 lakh to Rs 12 lakh, while the Cayenne SUV and the Cayenne Coupe saw an increase in price ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh, depending on the variant type. The highest bidders in terms of price increase. i.e. Rs 16 lakh, are the Panamera GTS and Taycan Turbo. Without doubt, the newly launched entry-level Porsche Taycan RWD is less increased-in terms of value-it witnessed an increase of Rs 3 lakh only.
