Over 5500 bookings completed in the first month for Kia Syros.

Early in January, Kia India opened reservations for the Syros, arguably the most eccentric small SUV in its class. The carmaker has received more than 5,500 orders for the same within a month of registering for formal reservations.

Bookings of the anticipated Kia Syros Started with over 5500 bookings in the first month

Six different models of the new Kia Syros are currently available for purchase, with an ex-showroom price of Rs. 9 lakh. The ADAS-equipped version is only available with the top-of-the-line variant, which costs Rs. 80,000 more than the base model, although the panoramic sunroof is available starting with the third variant.

Different variants in the new Kia Syros

Take a look at the table below and understand the variant-wise pricing of the Kia variants.

Two Powertrain Options

Two powertrain options are available for the Kia Syros mechanically:

  • A 1.5-liter diesel engine and

  • A 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine

Moreover, a six-speed manual, a seven-speed DCT, and a six-speed automatic torque converter unit handle the gearbox chores.

Conclusion

Given that the Kia Syros and the Sonet have nearly identical ex-showroom costs, it will be interesting to observe if the new and unusual small SUV will eat into its brother. For a thorough comparison of their features and specs, see our website.
