At the Auto Expo 2025, JSW MG Motor India exhibited a big fleet of cars with a couple of MG M9 luxury electric MPVs, which will be launched in India sometime in 2025. The MG M9 has been spotted testing in India without any camouflage. The latest spy shots capture images of the exteriors of the vehicle. Let's take a look.
MG M9 Luxury Electric MPV Measuring 5,270 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, 1,840 mm in height, and with a huge wheelbase of 3,200 mm, looks magnificent. This particular test mule was spied upon in what looks like some sort of underground parking. With all the presence MG M9 will have while roaming down the roads.
The one in these recent spy images shows a White body with a Black roof, providing a dual-tone floating roof appearance. There are many chrome pieces on this vehicle that scream luxury and understated sophistication. In these spy shots, MG M9 can be seen charging with the port present on the rear left quarter panel.
The fascia is finished by slim LED DRLs on top, vertically positioned LED headlights, and a lower air dam. The wheels are aerodynamic in design and look quite nice. The rear area is dominated by vast yet slender LED tail light signatures. Rear doors are of the sliding type, akin to those we see in Kia Carnival.
Luxurious Interiors
The inside of the car showcases premium interiors with a luxurious feel. A 2-spoke steering wheel faces a fully digital instrument cluster with multiple readouts. A larger free-standing infotainment screen has climate control sitting underneath; a polished center console with storage cubbies looks premium too.
The seating options in the second row are likely to be the main highlight of the MG M9 luxury electric MPV and are sure to deliver in terms of space. This means that the rear individual captain chairs have acres of space, plus some calve support, thus allowing for a near-full stretch. Some of the important features include a dual panoramic sunroof, massaging and ventilated seats, 3-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a premium audio system, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS.
The MG M9 is powered by a 90 kWh battery pack that provides around 430 km of range on a single charge. A single electric motor provides power with a guest peak power of 244 bhp and peak torque of 350 Nm. The battery is capable of 125 kW DC fast charging, allowing it to be charged from 30% to 80% within 30 minutes. It will launch after the Cyberster through MG Select dealerships.
