MG Cyberster and M9 Bookings are now open with the launch and delivery timeline information.

Capitalizing on the success of electric cars, JSW MG Motor India is now bringing in two upper-end cars – Cyberster and M9. These cars would be retailed through exclusive MG Select showrooms and are slated to be aggressively priced. Both these cars are already open to bookings by MG. Let us look at it in more detail.

JSW MG Motor India, through its MG Select dealerships, will be introducing two premium electric cars in India. MG Cyberster electric Roadster and M9 electric luxury MPV bookings have begun for a token price of Rs 51,000. Potential customers can book a Cyberster or M9 through the company's official portal or through offline channels.

Official Launch Dates

Official launch of both of these vehicles will take place soon and deliveries will commence next month in April 2025. MG Cyberster and M9 would be available in up to thirteen big Indian cities. These are Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Kochi and Surat.

Pricing has not yet been revealed

Pricing is not announced yet, and both Cyberster and M9 will have competitive prices. In India, they will have a pretty nice niche as we don't have an all-electric 2-door Roadster with scissor doors below the Rs 1 Cr price point. Where luxury MPVs are involved, none of the ones available in India are all electric.

Cyberster

MG's new Cyberster is set to make a grand entry in the Indian market. The company says it is the quickest MG Roadster ever, and it recently broke a record at Sambhar Salt Lake in Rajasthan by reaching 100 km/h in a mere 3.2 seconds. It is a 2-door convertible Roadster with sleek scissor doors and big 20-inch alloy wheels. The top performance ceiling on this car is very high since it receives an electrifying instant throttle response.

Both motors in the MG Cyberster deliver a combined system output of 510 bhp of maximum power and 725 Nm of maximum torque. These two motors are powered by a 77 kWh battery pack that will deliver an approximated range of 500 km on the same charge.

MG M9

Designed for the discerning chauffeur-driven clientele, MG M9 is intended to provide a refined luxury experience. It is a spacious and spacious electric MPV that forms a bubble of luxury and comfort for 2nd-row occupants. The most critical seats of this vehicle, if you will. The powered sliding doors make quite an entrance to facilitate ingress and egress.

Key features include memory function heated ORVMs, multi-zone climate control, ventilated seats with massage function, advanced ambient lighting, a 12-speaker premium sound system, an air purifier, rear privacy glass, Level-2 ADAS, and more. With a 90 kWh battery, it claims to offer 430 km of range and is driven by a 240 bhp and 350 Nm electric motor.

Conclusion

With the launch of the MG Cyberster and M9, JSW MG Motor India is raising the stakes in the luxury electric vehicle market. The Cyberster delivers a thrilling performance with its sporty look and scorching speed, while the M9 appeals to those looking for unparalleled luxury and comfort in an all-electric MPV. Since the bookings are now available, excitement is mounting for the official launch and delivery in April 2025. Both models, with competitive pricing on the cards, have the potential to redefine their respective segments in the Indian market. Keep following us for the latest price and availability updates!
