Mahindra XUV700 Crosses 2.5 Lakh Sales Milestone Since Launch

The 3-row SUV figures witness remarkable diesel variant sales dominating customer preferences for powerful engine options, premium features, and competitive pricing in the Indian market, thus aiding the successful run since its launch in 2021.

Mahindra XUV700's cumulative sales have crossed the 2.5 lakh mark since its launch. From the time of its launch in 2021, the Mahindra XUV700 has never ceased to elicit admiration among the masses. Now selling at a rate that has taken a little over seven months to go from 2 lakh to 2.5 lakh, the SUV now crosses the cumulative landmark of 2.5 lakh sales with another sales record. The SUV clocked 2 lakh in sales in June 2024 and one in July 2023.

That said, the XUV700 customers seem to be more diesel-minded than turbo-petrol. In January 2025, of the 8399 units sold, more than 74 percent of customers chose a diesel engine. This trend continued into February 2025, when diesel sales represented 65 percent of total unit sales, which were 5560 units. Besides that, approximately three-quarters of the customers that year for financial 2024-25 sided with the diesel engine while the rest selected the petrol. This has been the trend for the SUV since its launch in 2021.
