Lamborghini Temerario to Roar Into India: A Hybrid Beast Replacing the Huracan

The Lamborghini Temerario is set to make its Indian debut on April 30, 2025, as the brand’s second hybrid supercar after the Revuelto. Replacing the iconic Huracan, the Temerario brings together Italian craftsmanship, electrified performance, and an aggressive design language, promising a thrilling new chapter in Lamborghini’s legacy on Indian roads.

On April 30, 2025, Lamborghini will be launching the coveted plug-in hybrid supercar, the Temerario, in India. This daring new member enters as a dire replacement for the Huracan and hence carries a significant torch for the electrified era of the Italian company.

Following the idea from the Revuelto, the Temerario imbues hybrid innovation with the nomenclature and genius of Lamborghini design.

Electrifying Performance

Whatever powertrain is offered under the hood, the Temerario won't shy from making itself known; 789 bhp and 730 Nm of torque from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine alone.

With three electric motors-two at the front axle and one integrated into the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission- the combined total reaches an insane 907 bhp and 2,150 Nm of torque.

From 0 to 100 kmph, this plug-in hybrid supercar dashes in 2.7 seconds, while top speed reaches 343 kmph. With a 3.8 kWh battery capable of regenerative braking and charging in 30 minutes using a 7 kW AC charger, the supercar surely strikes a balance between exhilaration and efficiency.

Bold New Design

The Temerario debuts with a brand-new design language, sharper, lower, and more aggressive than ever. Shark-like nose, hexagonal LED DRLs, and a center-mounted exhaust; Lamborghini sculpts its supercar from every angle. The 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels with an optional carbon-fiber upgrade provide utility and aesthetics.

Futuristic Cockpit

Inside the Temerario, the design flows like a fighter jet. In the cockpit, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, an 8.4-inch central infotainment touchscreen, and a 9.1-inch passenger display keep every occupant in the loop. With electrically adjustable, ventilated seats, and physical controls on the steering wheel for engaging with those modes, the car puts comfort first.

The other 13 driving modes-witness Corsa and Performance-includes two PHEV-specific modes, such as Recharge, Hybrid and Performance and a drift mode for broken-axle havoc.

Lightweight and Track-Ready

With a new aluminium spatial frame chassis, the car enhances torsional rigidity by 20% over the Huracan. The optional Alleggerita package shaves 25 kg off dry weight, which stands at 1,715 kg. It is equipped with huge front brake discs of 410 mm and rear brake discs of 390 mm ensuring that it stops as hard as it goes-quickly.

Expected Price and Competition

Expected to be priced at ₹6 crore (ex-showroom), the hybrid beast will compete with Ferrari 296 GTB and higher performance PHEVs.

With electrifying power, advanced tech, and breathtaking visuals, the Lamborghini Temerario is ready to change India's hybrid supercar standards.
