Suzuki Motorcycle India registers 88,731 units sales in April 2023 which translates to a 23 per cent growth.
Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL) registered a domestic sale of 67,259 units in April 2023, compared to the 54,327 units sold in April 2022, the company witnessed a good 23.8 per cent growth year-on-year (YoY) basis. The overall sales figure stands at a good 88,731 units for the month of April 2023. The best-selling model on the Suzuki portfolio for the month of April ‘23 has been the Access 125. At a starting price of Rs. 79,400, the Access comes with drum brakes and the top variant is priced at Rs. 89,500 that gets Ride Connect feature with disc brakes and alloy wheels.
Commenting on the sales performance, Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director, of Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. said, “Suzuki Motorcycle India continues to grow at a double-digit rate. We registered a significant year-on-year growth of 23.3 per cent in April 2023. This consistent sales performance is the result of growing demand for Suzuki two-wheelers in India and in overseas markets. Apart from the sales growth, April 2023 proved to be quite progressive for the company as we successfully achieved the seven millionth production milestone since the origin of the company in 2006. This month, we also introduced new colours for our third-generation Hayabusa.
