Hyundai Verna Gets Feature-Rich SX+ Variant; Prices From ₹13.79 Lakh

Hyundai Motor India has bolstered its already rich Verna lineup, providing the SX+ variant to add value for those customers looking to upgrade from a mid-spec SX trim with a manual to a top-spec SX(O) trim with a manual.

With the manual SX+ starting at ₹13.79 lakh and the CVT SX+ at ₹15.04 lakh (ex-showroom), this new trim offers up loads of desirable features at a reasonable price point.

More Features, Better Comfort

The SX+ variant has also received large updates that elevate the interior experience and driver convenience. Included are the following:

  • Bose 8-speaker sound system

  • Fake leather seat upholstery

  • Heated and ventilated front seats

  • Whopping front parking sensors

  • Elegantly-styled LED headlamps for the best of both worlds in nighttime visibility and swag

These updates get the SX+ trim as close to the fully loaded SX(O) trim as possible without the full price jump, and to top things off, the SX(SX+) is also a great selection for those who want something luxury style, but at less accessible pricing in a hurry.

Dependable Powertrain with Dual Transmission Options

Under the hood, the Verna SX+ also carries on with Hyundai’s long-standing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 113 bhp and 144 Nm of torque. Select between 6-speed manual or IVT (CVT) gearbox choices. This engine has a great reputation for good performance coupled with good efficiency, making it the perfect choice for city commutes or weekend highway trips!
