The upcoming Toyota Belta can be introduced in multiple variants: Mid, High, and Premium trims.
The sedan is expected to be priced starting around Rs. 9 lakhs (ex-showroom), undercutting the rivals in the segment by a handsome margin.
As Maruti Suzuki has discontinued the diesel engine in the Ciaz, the chances of Toyota launching the Belta with a diesel engine option are minimal.
As Maruti Ciaz is available with tyres sized 185/65 R15 and 195/55 R16, one can expect the same size in the Belta as well.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is not available with a panoramic sunroof. Hence, for the sake of cost-cutting, it would be difficult for Toyota to implement this.
The sedan is loaded up to the brim with oodles of comfort and entertainment, including touchscreen infotainment, automatic AC, push engine start/stop switch, rear AC vents, and automatic headlamps.
The Japanese automaker can give a host of features which are not in Ciaz. These include wireless charging, a digital instrument cluster, and 6 airbags.
The car will come with a 1.5L petrol engine that makes 105 PS and 138 Nm of torque. The transmission options include a 5-speed manual or 4-speed AT.
The Toyota Belta is 4,490 mm long, 1,730 mm wide, and has a height of 1,485 mm. The wheelbase and ground clearance are 2,650 mm and 170 mm, respectively.
Given Yaris was available in 7 different colour options, and Maruti recently added dual-tone colour options in Ciaz, you can expect the same in Toyota Belta.
