Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo Edition Arrives at Dealerships Ahead of Launch – Bookings Open Today at 5 PM

Skoda Auto India is all set to launch the much-anticipated Monte Carlo edition of its popular mid-size sedan, the Slavia. Ahead of its official launch, the Slavia Monte Carlo edition has already started arriving at dealerships across the country. Enthusiasts can start booking the special edition from 5 PM today (2 September 2024), and the vehicle is expected to draw attention with its distinct design elements and performance upgrades.

Bold Exterior Design

The Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo is distinguished by its sporty styling and signature red shade, which makes it instantly recognizable. To accentuate the sporty theme, Skoda has given the Monte Carlo edition several blacked-out exterior elements. These include the front grille, ORVMs, alloy wheels, and badging on the boot lid. The sleek and sporty look is further enhanced by a bootlid-mounted spoiler and darkened taillights. Additionally, the car proudly wears the Monte Carlo badging on the fender, a nod to its racing heritage.

Sporty Interior with Premium Features

Inside, the 2024 Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo carries forward the sporty theme with an all-black cabin accentuated by red inserts. The red and black dual-tone seats, Monte Carlo-inscribed front headrests, and Monte Carlo scuff plates add a touch of exclusivity. The dashboard features premium red inserts that complement the overall sporty aesthetics.

Skoda hasn't compromised on comfort and convenience either. The Monte Carlo edition comes with ventilated front seats, which will be a welcome feature in India’s diverse climate. Other highlights include an electric sunroof, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity features, and an eight-inch fully digital virtual cockpit, which gives the driver a modern and immersive driving experience.

Power and Performance

While the standard Skoda Slavia is available with both 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines, the Monte Carlo edition is expected to be offered exclusively with the more powerful 1.5-litre TSI engine. This engine produces an impressive 148bhp and 250Nm of torque, providing a dynamic driving experience. The engine will be paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission, giving customers the flexibility to choose their preferred driving style.

What’s Next for Skoda?

In addition to the Slavia Monte Carlo, Skoda Auto India has plans to introduce Sportline editions of both the Slavia and the Kushaq in the near future. These special editions will further enhance the brand’s lineup by offering sportier styling and performance-focused upgrades.

As Skoda gears up for the launch of the Slavia Monte Carlo, fans and potential buyers can expect a perfect blend of sporty aesthetics, premium features, and powerful performance in this new offering. With bookings starting today, the excitement around the Slavia Monte Carlo is set to hit a new high.
