2025 Tata Harrier EV Bookings Now Open at Dealerships

While Tata Motors has yet to formally begin with the all-new Harrier EV bookings, a few Tata dealers will be accepting unofficial bookings ahead of orders launching on July 2.

Starting at an ex-showroom price of Rs 21.49 lakh, the Harrier EV is Tata's most advanced and feature-loaded electric SUV to date.

Available Variants and Powertrain Info

Tata is set to offer three broad trims for the Harrier EV: Adventure, Fearless and Empowered, with two battery packs (65 kWh and 75 kWh) and in either rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) options.

Key technical specifications are :

  • Power output: 238 PS (RWD), 158 PS (front motor on AWD)

  • Torque: Up to 504 Nm

  • Claimed range: Up to 627 km (MIDC)

  • 0-100 kmph acceleration: 6.3 seconds (with Boost Mode)

Feature-Loaded Cabin with High-Tech Equipment

In terms of technology, the Harrier EV surpasses anything Tata has done in the past. It comes equipped with:

  • 14.5-inch infotainment display

  • 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster

  • 10-speaker JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos

  • Dual-zone climate control

  • Panoramic sunroof and multi-color ambient lighting

  • Wireless phone charger, powered front seats

  • Level-2 ADAS, 7 airbags, 360-degree camera with see-through view

The SUV comes with six terrain modes: Mud, Snow, Rock Crawl, Custom, Normal, and Snow/Grass. Further, there is a Summon Mode that enables you to move the car forward/backward using the keyfob.

Using EV-specific functions like Vehicle-to-Vehicle or V2V, and Vehicle-to-Load or V2L features adds a practical aspect.

Exterior & Interior: Familiar but Futuristic

The Harrier EV maintains overall design cues of its diesel sibling with EV-specific changes that include a blanked-out grille, vertical slats in the bumper, and .ev badges.

In the interior profile, the two-tone grey and white dashboard gives it a more premium and modern look.

Rivals and Positioning

The 2025 Tata Harrier EV competes with the Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3 and is a more affordable alternative to the Hyundai Ioniq 5; bookings will start shortly, and Tata Motors has a lot to be excited about, diving into what could be some of their most important electric launches yet.
