HDFC FASTag
FASTag is an electronic toll collection system in India recently made mandatory nationwide. The National Highway Authority of India is responsible for its management. It is a device that employs Radio Frequency Identification technology for making toll payments while the car is already moving.
FASTags has made the life of a car owner easy as all you need to do is affix the FASTag on the widescreen of the car, and the charges are automatically deducted from the FASTag account. As a result, you won't have to stand in long queues.
How to recharge HDFC FASTag
There are several ways to recharge your HDFC FASTag balance:
Via HDFC Net Banking
Log in to your HDFC Bank NetBanking Account.
Under "Bill Pay & Recharge", select the Continue tab.
You will find the FASTag icon under 'Pay'.
Select the HDFC Bank FASTag option.
Next, enter your Vehicle Registration Number or Wallet ID and click on the Pay tab.
Under the Payment Amount, enter the recharge amount. There is a limit of
Maximum recharge amount. Select the payment option and complete the transaction of your HDFC Bank FASTag via InternetBanking through your HDFC Account.
Via HDFC Mobile Banking
Follow these steps to recharge your HDFC Bank FASTag using HDFC Bank NetBanking:
Install the HDFC mobile App through the play store or app store.
Login through your HDFC Bank MobileBanking App. Select the "Pay" option.
Go to the "Add Biller" tab to input your vehicle details.
Select the FASTag icon.
Select HDFC Bank FASTag from the provided dropdown list. Next, input your car.
Registration Number, your Wallet ID. For future reference, update the Biller Name. Select the Continue tab.
Go through all the details entered. Check the T&C box. Select the Confirm
tab. Through this confirmation, the Biller details are automatically added to your biller list.
Next step is to recharge your FASTag wallet and select the biller Name.
Check the pre-populated Vehicle Registration number and Wallet ID details. Enter the desired recharge amount. Select the payment option from the provided dropdown list, the "Pay From" option and select "PAY" to complete the FASTag recharge by Internet Banking.
Via HDFC FASTag website
You can also recharge your HDFC Bank FASTag through our website. Follow the five steps to complete your recharge.
Go to the HDFC website and log in with your credentials.
Following that, click on the recharge icon.
Select the record, also known as the desired row, by clicking on the ID number.
Add the recharge amount.
Click YES, to complete the recharge.
With these steps, your FASTag recharge procedure is completed within a few minutes.
Via Park+ App:
Install the Park+ app through the play store or app store. Go to "Services". Click on "FASTag" Enter your vehicle's registration number. Park+ will match the bank name, HDFC Bank, with the FASTag of your car. Click 'Pay' after entering the amount of the recharge.
