The application ensures data integrity, reliability, and transparency by securely accessing and updating data from national databases, aligning with Vahan 4 and Sarathi 4 requirements.

Challan penalties in Jharkhand

In Jharkhand, if you violate traffic rules, the government has implemented increased fines for various types of violations according to the amended Motor Vehicles Act. These violations include driving without documents or a helmet, overspeeding, unauthorized vehicle use, and dangerous driving.

  • Driving a vehicle without a valid registration certificate: Rs. 3,000-7,500

  • Driving a vehicle in violation of permit conditions: Rs. 10,000-15,000

  • Driving an overloaded passenger vehicle: Rs. 200-300 per extra passenger

  • Driving without wearing a seat belt: Rs. 1,000-1,500

  • Driving a vehicle with children without seat belts: Rs. 1,000-1,500

  • Restricting the passage of emergency vehicles: Rs. 10,000-15,000
