All vehicle owners should follow the following fundamental traffic regulations if they want to avoid getting a challan:

  • Always Carry the following documents: A car owner must keep these documents in his car at all times: driver's license, insurance certificate, registration certificate, and Pollution
  • Under Control (PUC) certificates are required for all vehicles.
  • Commercial vehicles need to carry a fitness certificate (issued by the manufacturer or state RTO authority, after examining the insurance, tax, pollution certificate, etc.) or a tourist permit.
  • Comprehend and follow road signs: Every motorist must learn and obey road signs and instructional signals. These indicators forewarn you of what is to come. They also show what you are and are not permitted to do when driving on the road.
  • Never defy or disagree with a police officer. Bribing a police officer is a crime. Cooperate with the cops to make sure that traffic flows smoothly on the highway or roads.
  • Allow for emergency vehicles: If you see an emergency vehicle, such as police cars, ambulances, or fire engines attempting to pass, give them room. Blocking their path may result in losing life or property. As a result, it is a criminal violation.

In a nutshell, the process of paying e-challan through online mediums in Madhya Pradesh has been made easy and faster, however, do ensure that you follow all traffic rules so as to avoid getting an e-challan in the first place.
