  • Details of the new XUV 3XO EV's cost and delivery

  • Key features, performance, and characteristics that make it stand out in the EV market

The all-new XUV 3XO EV has been unveiled by Mahindra & Mahindra in India. The base AX5 variation costs ₹13.89 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-spec AX7L model costs ₹14.96 lakh. Delivery of this much-anticipated electric SUV is set to start on February 23, 2026, offering consumers a thrilling new choice in the quickly expanding EV market.

Range and Performance Appropriate for Everyday Use

The XUV 3XO EV has a single front-mounted electric motor and a 39.4 kWh battery under the hood. For a small electric SUV, this configuration generates about 147 bhp of power and 310 Nm of torque, allowing for quick acceleration and powerful performance. The car is said to have a real-world range of up to 285 km on a full charge, making it perfect for short highway stops and city commutes.

Mahindra also highlights fast-charging capability, which is a helpful feature for people who are constantly on the go. A compatible 50 kW DC charger can increase the battery's capacity from 0% to 80% in around 50 minutes.

Features That Outperform Their Cost

The XUV 3XO EV has a contemporary, well-equipped interior. A panoramic sunroof, sophisticated Level 2 driver-assistance systems with features like automated emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, and a high-end Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos are available in both versions.

Mahindra's Adrenox system, which offers more than 80 connected-car features like remote control capabilities and vehicle condition monitoring, manages connectivity.

With several airbags, stability control systems, and a 360-degree camera making daily driving safer and more convenient, safety hasn't been neglected either.

Attractive Yet Functional Design

The EV variant sets itself apart from the current ICE-powered XUV 3XO platform with subtle visual cues, including rose-gold grille details, unique alloy wheels, and distinctive EV badging. XUV lovers will recognize the vehicle's overall style despite these visual cues indicating that it is electric.

Competitive Positioning and Future Market Opportunities

Entering a competitive market, the XUV 3XO EV will face off against competitors in the small electric SUV market that are already winning over Indian consumers. Customers looking for a useful, everyday electric vehicle option should find it appealing due to its affordability, features, and claimed performance.
