Best MPVs at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

Following are the best showcases under the MPVs section in the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 and it was a delight for the Indian consumers.

  1. Kia Carnival Hi-Limo

Kia is considering two different strategies. The Hi-Limo will be at one end and the diesel Carnival at the other. On the exterior, it looks like a carnival, but inside, there are four seats and more upscale amenities. A 2.2-liter diesel and a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 292 horsepower and 355 Nm of torque are available. Only an eight-speed AT that powers the front wheels is available for both variants.

  1. Toyota Velfire

At the Expo, the Vellfire was on display, displaying Toyota's finest offerings. It is only available in a four-seat configuration and as a petrol hybrid. The only engine available is the 2.5-liter hybrid from Toyota, which generates 142 horsepower and an additional 141 horsepower from the electric motor. You get 1157 kilometers of driving range and 240 Nm of torque.

  1. Hyundai Staria

In contrast to the Carnival, Hyundai Staria has a more rounded and unusual design, although it has the same features and powertrains. It will be a CKD with a diesel engine and be available in several variations if Hyundai decides to import it to India.

  1. MG M9

With the introduction of the M9, MG further demonstrated its strategy for the premium MPV market. It is MG's second model for Select showrooms and is referred to as the Mifa in International markets. It is anticipated to be on sale in or near May 2025. With a stated range of 430 kilometers, it will be available in a single fully loaded version.

Conclusion

Most of these cars are petrol-powered, with hybrid and electric vehicles being further subdivided. They all strive for a rear-seat package that includes powered doors, interactive screens, dual climate zones, and ottoman seats. Due to the high demand, everything will be provided through the CKD route. Additionally, this will enable producers to charge the higher costs that these clients require.
