Maruti Suzuki has finally launched its long-awaited Victoris SUV in India, with prices to be announced in the next couple of weeks. Arena dealerships will be the only outlets through which the model will be retailed, and this reflects the motive of Maruti to diversify its SUV range into mainstream consumers.
Buyers will not have a shortage of options because the Victoris will be sold in six models: LXi, VXi, ZXi, ZXi(O), ZXi+, and ZXi+ (O).
Giving customers the ability to customise their SUV with an exterior colour of their choice, with 10 different colour options, such as Mystic Green, Eternal Blue, Sizzling Red, Magma Grey, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, and Bluish Black.
There are also 3 fashionable two-tone models, including Eternal Blue with Bluish Black roof, Sizzling Red with Bluish Black roof, and Splendid Silver with Bluish Black roof.
The 2025 Victoris will use a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and three different forms of powertrain: mild-hybrid, strong-hybrid and CNG.
The hybrid has a five-speed manual gearbox, a six-speed torque converter automatic and the e-CVT unit. The presence of an All-Grip all-wheel-drive (AWD) version will also be welcomed by enthusiasts and will help the vehicle have more capabilities on mixed surfaces.
One of the strongest areas of Maruti is fuel efficiency, and the company boasts that Victoris will achieve up to 28.65 kmpl, depending on the powertrain set-up used.
The Victoris will appeal to a broad range of SUV customers, with its diverse variant mix, efficient powertrains and expansive range of colour options. The SUV will likely perform well in the fast-growing segment of the mid-size SUV in India, with a launch just around the corner.
