Maruti Suzuki Announces Price Hike of Up to Rs 30,000 Across Its Entire Range from June 2026
Maruti Suzuki has officially announced its second price hike of 2026, with increases of up to Rs 30,000 effective June, citing sustained input cost pressures.
The revision will apply across the company's full model range, though exact figures will vary by model and variant.
Maruti Suzuki has formally notified Indian stock exchanges that it will be increasing prices across its entire model portfolio by up to Rs 30,000, with the revision coming into effect from June 2026.
The company has pointed to rising input costs and persistent inflationary pressures as the primary reasons behind the decision. What makes this announcement particularly noteworthy is that it marks the brand's second price hike within 2026, having already revised prices upward in January of the same year.

In its official communication, Maruti Suzuki stated that it has been making continuous efforts over the past few months to minimise the impact of rising costs through various internal cost reduction measures.
However, with the adverse cost environment persisting at elevated levels, the company has concluded that absorbing further increases is no longer a viable strategy. A portion of those increased costs will now be passed on to customers, the automaker confirmed.
The hike will not be uniform. The exact extent of the price increase will vary depending on the model and variant, meaning some buyers may see smaller adjustments whilst others could face increases closer to the Rs 30,000 ceiling.
Maruti Suzuki currently sells a wide range of vehicles in India including the Alto K10, S-Presso, WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Fronx, Brezza, Grand Vitara, Invicto and Jimny, among others. All of these are expected to be subject to the revised pricing.
At present, Maruti cars are priced from Rs 3.70 lakh for the Alto K10 to Rs 28.61 lakh for the Invicto. Model-specific revised price lists have not yet been made public and are expected to be released closer to the June implementation date.
It would be unfair to look at this in isolation. Like several other automakers operating in India, Maruti Suzuki has been facing higher commodity prices, logistics expenses and broader inflation-related cost pressures.
Manufacturers across the industry have been periodically revising prices over recent years to protect margins whilst managing operational costs. Maruti's June hike is very much part of a wider industry pattern rather than a standalone decision.
