JSW MG Motor India closed June 2026 on a high note, recording its best-ever monthly wholesale performance since the company began operations in the country.
The automaker dispatched 7,568 units during the month, a rise of 1,739 units and 29.83% over the 5,829 units it managed in June last year. Sales also climbed 1,520 units, or 25.13%, over May 2026, when the company had dispatched 6,048 units.

A major share of this growth has come from JSW MG's electric line-up. Electric vehicles accounted for more than 75% of total sales in June 2026, according to figures shared by the company.
The brand currently fields one of the more extensive EV ranges on sale in India, spanning the Comet EV, Windsor EV, ZS EV, Cyberster and the M9. JSW MG credited the shift towards electric mobility to a combination of rising fuel costs, cheaper running expenses associated with EVs and ongoing global energy market uncertainty, all of which appear to be nudging buyers towards the plug-in route.
That said, the company's petrol and diesel models have not been left behind. Nameplates such as the Astor, Hector and Gloster continue to draw steady interest, and JSW MG noted that its ICE line-up contributed meaningfully to the overall sales tally as well.
Speaking on the June performance, Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, said the results reflected consistent demand across the company's product range, with electric vehicles continuing to hold a significant share of overall volumes.
He pointed to the steady response for the brand's ICE models as evidence that the company's broader product strategy was paying off, and thanked customers for their continued support, while reaffirming JSW MG's intent to keep introducing mobility solutions suited to changing buyer preferences.
Beyond the monthly numbers, JSW MG has also opened the second calendar quarter well. Wholesale dispatches for Q2 2026 stood at 19,634 units, up from 17,962 units in the same quarter last year, a rise of 1,672 units, or 9.31%.
| JSW MG | Q2 26 | Q2 25 | Diff | % |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sales | 19,634 | 17,962 | 1,672 | 9.31 |
Adding further weight to its June performance, JSW MG has also begun deliveries of the newly launched Majestor, which the company positions as India's first D+ segment SUV.
Looking ahead, the automaker has confirmed the arrival of another new model on July 16, 2026, expected to be a seven-seat SUV built on the Starlight PHEV platform. With electric demand holding firm and fresh products now reaching showrooms, JSW MG will be hoping to carry this momentum through the rest of the year.
