Hyundai is back with its heavy discounts and offers deals for August 2024. Hyundai is rolling out these discounts on most of its models which include cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and corporate bonuses across a variety of Hyundai cars. However, some of the models are excluded from the list such as Hyundai Creta, Creta N Line, i20 N Line, and the flagship Ioniq 5.
The Hyundai Alcazar is the highlight of this month's discount offers. Customers can save up to Rs 90,000 on both petrol and diesel variants of the Alcazar. This SUV is available in both 6-seater and 7-seater versions and offers two engine choices. One is a 160-horsepower (hp), 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, and the other is a 116-hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. The turbo-petrol version comes with both manual and dual-clutch automatic transmission options, while the diesel variant offers a manual and torque converter option. An update for the Alcazar is expected soon.
The Hyundai Tucson also comes with significant discounts. The petrol variant of the Tucson offers a discount of Rs 25,000, while the diesel variant has a higher discount of Rs 50,000. The Tucson competes with the Jeep Compass and Volkswagen Tiguan. It features a 156 hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine, and a 186 hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine. Both versions come with a 6-speed automatic transmission, but the diesel variant is the only one that offers an all-wheel-drive (AWD) option.
The Hyundai Venue is available with discounts up to Rs 60,000 for the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol manual transmission (MT) variant. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol dual-clutch transmission (DCT) variant has discounts up to Rs 55,000, and the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol variant has benefits up to Rs 50,000. However, there are no discounts for the 1.5-litre diesel variants this month. The sportier Venue N Line also gets a standard discount of Rs 55,000 across all its variants.
The Hyundai Verna, a popular sedan, is available with total discounts up to Rs 40,000. This includes a cash discount of Rs 15,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000, and a scrappage bonus of Rs 5,000. These benefits apply to all variants of the Verna, which competes with the Honda City, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus.
The Hyundai i20 hatchback has discounts up to Rs 50,000 for its manual transmission variants. For the continuously variable transmission (CVT) variants, the discounts go up to Rs 35,000. The i20 competes with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Tata Altroz, and is priced between Rs 7.04 lakh and Rs 11.21 lakh.
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or an automated manual transmission (AMT). This engine is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The petrol engine produces 83 hp and 113 Nm of torque, while on CNG, it produces 69 hp and 95 Nm of torque. Discounts for the Grand i10 Nios go up to Rs 53,000 for the CNG and petrol manual variants, while the petrol AMT variants offer discounts up to Rs 43,000.
The Hyundai Aura sedan offers discounts of up to Rs 48,000 for the CNG variants, and up to Rs 28,000 for the petrol variants. The Aura is priced between Rs 6.49 lakh and Rs 9.05 lakh and competes with the Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor.
The Hyundai Exter comes with a cash discount of Rs 20,000 for August. However, the entry-level EX and EX(O) variants do not have any discounts. The Exter, which rivals the Tata Punch and Citroen C3, is priced between Rs 6.13 lakh and Rs 10.43 lakh.
