Hyundai Aura Gets Pricier: Select Variants Hiked

Hyundai has raised prices of the Aura by Rs. 5,700, applicable to seven of its petrol and CNG variants.
The sub-compact sedan now carries a revised price band of Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 8.60 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Hyundai Aura has just become a touch more expensive. Effective June 11, 2026, Hyundai India has revised the pricing of the Aura sub-compact sedan, hiking select variant prices by Rs. 5,700. It is the latest in a string of price revisions the Korean carmaker has pushed through its India lineup this month, following similar increases on the Creta Electric, i20 N Line, and the Venue N Line.

Which Variants Are Affected

The price increase applies to seven variants of the Aura. These are the S petrol MT, SX petrol MT, SX (O) petrol MT, SX+ petrol AMT, S CNG MT, Corporate CNG MT, and the SX CNG MT. Each of these now costs Rs. 5,700 more than before.

Which Variants Remain Unchanged

Not every Aura buyer will feel the pinch. Four variants have been left untouched by this revision. The E petrol MT, Corporate petrol MT, E CNG MT, and the S petrol AMT all continue at their existing price points.

For buyers on a tighter budget, these entry-level trims remain a viable route into the Aura lineup.

Revised Price Range

With the latest revision factored in, the Hyundai Aura now retails between Rs. 6 lakh and Rs. 8.60 lakh, all prices ex-showroom. That keeps it competitive in the sub-compact sedan space, where it faces stiff competition from the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, among others.

June has been an active month for Hyundai on the pricing front, and the Aura revision is consistent with that trend. Beyond pricing matters, Hyundai is also preparing to expand its local product portfolio.
